DADDY MACK X 1ST BLOOD X MR. OBVIOUS
In February of 2011, I got a phone call from Kade Hummel, telling me he completed his assignment, which was “If you find a stout, wide sprung, moderate yorkshire boar packed with muscle in a functional package, I want a phone call”. That call informed me there was a Daddy Mack son at Jim Rodibaugh’s, and that if I didn’t buy him, he had 2 other calls he was going to make next. Having confidence in Kade’s ability we closed the deal.
For a York boar, Go Daddy’s maturity has been very unique. His rib shape has continued to expand..he’s grown out instead of up. We have kept a number of gilts back to breed this fall out of Go Daddy, and it appears that many of the qualities that are unique in Go Daddy are possessed by his daughters as well. I think one of the challenges today is finding the unique individuals that warrant the use to influx pure genetics. Go Daddy offers uniqueness in this area.
